Nissan Navara injectors for the NP300, D40 and D22

We stock genuine injectors for every common rail Navara on Australian roads: the NP300 (D23) with the 2.3L YS23, and the D40 and D22 with the 2.5L YD25, which is also fitted to the Pathfinder R51. If your Navara has started running rough, smoking or losing power, worn injectors are one of the most common causes, especially past 150,000 km. Find your model below, or call us with your VIN and we'll confirm the right part.

Which Navara injector do I need?

Nissan Navara D22 2.5LYD25DDTiDenso 095000-6240

The D40 and D22 both use the YD25 but take different injectors, so check the number on your existing injector before ordering. For the YD25 injectors the last digit of the Denso part number doesn't matter: any injector starting 095000-625* takes the D40 injector, and 095000-624* takes the D22 injector. If you can't read the number, call us on 0433 721 935 with your VIN or rego.

NP300 injectors (YS23 2.3L)

The NP300 moved Nissan to the 2.3 litre YS23, a Renault-designed engine, with a Continental (VDO) injector system. Our NP300 injector is the genuine VDO A2C3335190080, also listed as Nissan 16600-00Q2K. It's our best-selling injector, and NP300 owners usually replace all four together.

D40 and D22 injectors (YD25 2.5L)

The YD25 powered the D40 Navara and Pathfinder R51 from 2005, and the later common rail D22. It's a strong engine, but its injectors and their seals are known to wear, and a leaking injector seal lets combustion gas into the oil and carbon builds up around the injector. We supply genuine Denso injectors for both models, plus a genuine Nissan injector fitting kit for Spanish-built D40 and R51 models (VIN starting VSK, 09/2006 to 01/2010), with new injector seals, O-rings, leak-off gaskets and a rocker cover gasket.

Signs your Navara injectors are worn

  • Rough or uneven idle
  • Black or white smoke from the exhaust
  • Loss of power or poor acceleration, especially when towing
  • Hard starting or long cranking
  • Higher fuel consumption than usual
  • Check engine light or misfire codes

Our Diagnose Your Diesel guide covers the common checks. Don't run a faulty injector for long: over-fuelling can damage the turbo, DPF and pistons.

On high-kilometre diesels with EGR, carbon also builds up in the intake manifold. If your engine feels sluggish or regenerates its DPF often, see our intake carbon cleaning service, and our injector testing if you want to confirm the injectors before replacing them.

Genuine injectors, not copies

Every Navara injector we sell is a genuine Denso or VDO unit, the same manufacturers that supply Nissan. Cheap copies are common online and frequently fail early. All our injectors come with a 12-month warranty and ship fast Australia-wide. Looking for other Nissan parts? See all Nissan diesel injectors, including the Patrol ZD30.

Navara injector FAQs

Should I replace all four Navara injectors at once?

We recommend it. Injectors wear at a similar rate, and a matched set gives even fuelling across all four cylinders. Replacing one at a time usually means another job soon after.

Do D40 and D22 injectors interchange?

No. Both use the YD25 engine but take different injectors: 095000-625* for the D40 and Pathfinder R51, and 095000-624* for the D22.

Will the NP300 injector fit a D40?

No. The NP300 uses the 2.3L YS23 engine with a VDO injector system, which is completely different from the YD25 in the D40.

Do new Navara injectors need coding?

Most modern common rail injectors carry a compensation code that should be programmed into the ECU with a suitable scan tool after fitting. Your mechanic or diesel specialist can do this when the injectors go in.

Can you install the injectors for me?

Yes. See our workshop installation service in Brisbane, or call 0433 721 935.
