Fitment

For the VW Crafter, Transporter and Multivan 2.0L TDI BiTurbo, 2015 - 2024.

What this part does

A common rail injector meters and atomises diesel into each cylinder under electronic control. A worn or sticking injector can cause hard starting, a rough idle, smoke, knocking, poor economy or excessive return flow. Those symptoms can also come from rail pressure, compression or electrical faults, so test before replacing.

Fitting

Fit new seals and any specified clamp hardware, clean the injector seat and follow the manufacturer's torque procedure. Many common rail injectors need their correction code entered into the ECU after fitting, so we recommend professional installation.

*Note - Use the part number from your original component or your vehicle identification number (VIN) to confirm this part is correct for your vehicle before purchase. Model names and date ranges should be used as a guide only.

Frequently asked questions

Does the injector need coding? Many common rail injectors need their correction code registered with the ECU after fitting. Check the requirement for your vehicle, or have it fitted by a diesel workshop.

How do I check it fits? Send us your VIN or registration and a photo of the number on your original part, and we'll confirm the right part before you order.
